Insurance Claim Process
Schedule your free consultation to determine if property damage requires an insurance claim
By signing the Contingency Agreement, you select Sodak Exteriors as your contractor and allows us to negotiate with your insurance to insure that your claim represents the correct damage and amounts for repair/replacement.
If it is determined that a claim should be filed. Contact your insurance company to start the claim process.
Once you file your cliam; the insurance company will schedule an appointment for a field adjuster to assess the damage to your property. It is important to have your contractor onsite to support this process.
Your insurance company will provide a detailed claim outlining the repairs identified by the field adjuster ("Claim"). The claim will come via mail and or email along with a check for the cash value of claim.
To start the repair process a contract is signed and a detailed scope identifying materials and colors for the project.
The supplement process is when the contractor can prove that the claim is missing items that need repaired or the money associated to the repair is incorrect. Sodak Exteriors manages this process.
Once the scope of work is finalized; the installation is scheduled and materials are ordered.
When the materials are delivered, a Sodak Exteriors representative will verify reciept of all required materials.
All work is completed within a timely basis and as stated in the contract. The final inspection is completed by the local authority.
Final contract review with the customer and upon client satisfaction the contract is complete. Final payment is due.
